On July 2, 2009, Mr. Romano Prodi, former President of the EU Commission and former Prime Minister of Italy, delivered a speech on current financial and economic crisis for CNSA trainees and faculty its premises.

Mr. Wei Liqun, CNSA Executive Vice President met Mr. Prodi and chaired his speech later.

CNSA Vice Presidents, Mr. Hong Yi, Mr. Zhou Wenzhang and Mr. Han Kang as well as Mr. Yang Wenming, Director General of CNSA Personnel Bureau were also present at the meeting and the speech.
